Euro Rises Against Yen as Japan's Central Bank Warns of Further Rate Hikes

The Euro has strengthened against the Japanese Yen to near 180.78 due to weakness in the latter's currency value.

This comes after the Bank of Japan's monetary policy announcement last week, which saw interest rates hike by 25 basis points to 1.25%, the highest figure seen in 31 years.

The Japanese central bank kept the door open for further interest rate hikes, warning that inflation might exceed its 2% target and recent Yen depreciation could push prices higher.
