Euro Shows Signs of Stabilization After FOMC Meeting
The Euro (EUR) has been experiencing some stabilization against the US Dollar (USD) following the latest FOMC meeting.
This is according to Shaun Osborne and Eric Theoret, strategists at Scotiabank, who report that EUR/USD is extending Thursday's modest recovery attempt to stabilize after the latest FOMC meeting.
The relative policy expectations between the European Central Bank (ECB) and Fed are seen as stabilizing, with ECB policymakers remaining hawkish amid energy-linked inflation concerns and growth.
The German PPI surprised to the upside, which is another factor contributing to the Euro's attempt at stabilization.
