Euro Soars to Three-Month High Against Weak US Dollar
The Euro (EUR) has reached a fresh three-month high against the US Dollar (USD), trading at around 1.1710 during the European trading session on Friday.
This move comes as the US Treasury's decision to double down on its bond-buying operations and receded hawkish Federal Reserve bets have weighed on the US Dollar.
The European Central Bank is widely expected to raise interest rates at its September meeting, which has strengthened the Euro's appeal.
