Euro Speculators Boost Net Short Position by Over 25,000 Contracts

Large currency speculators have increased their net short position in the Euro futures market, according to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) data. The non-commercial futures contracts of Euro futures, traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net short position of 52334 contracts as of September 22, 2026.

This marks a significant increase from the previous week's total, with an addition of 25341 net positions. The CFTC releases Commitment of Traders (COT) data on a weekly basis to provide insight into market trends and positions held by large speculators.
