Large currency speculators have reduced their net short position in the Euro futures market, according to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reported that non-commercial futures contracts for the Euro futures market totaled a net short position of 26,993 contracts as of September 15, 2026. This represents a weekly reduction of 15,623 net positions.

The decrease in net short positions indicates that speculators are becoming less bearish on the Euro. However, it is essential to note that the COT data only provides insight into the market's sentiment and does not necessarily predict future price movements.
