The Euro held steady above 1.1600 as markets braced for US inflation data and an upcoming ECB rate decision.
Last week's US jobs report showed a surprise 162,000 job gain in August, beating forecasts of 56,000, with the unemployment rate remaining at a tight 4.1%.
Traders now see a nearly 60% chance of a Federal Reserve (Fed) rate hike this month following the upbeat Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) report.
