Euro-Zone Inflation Hits Three-Year High: ECB Rate Hikes Loom
The euro-area consumer price index rose to its highest level in three years, reaching 3.8% year-over-year growth in September.
This increase surpasses the previous month's 3.2% and is slightly above the median estimate of 3.7% in a Bloomberg survey.
The European Central Bank (ECB) may consider raising interest rates further as a result of this inflationary pressure, according to the data released by Eurostat on Friday.
