Indices such as UKX (London) and DAX (Germany) saw a decline of -0.39% and -0.44%, respectively. Germany's services activity has been weak, but manufacturing drove up the composite PMI. France's CAC index fell by -0.34%, with its services and composite PMIs falling below estimates in August.
The S&P Global Italy Composite PMI rose, providing a slight contrast to the overall market trend. The bond yields have eased, contributing to the stability of the European markets.
