Eurozone CPI Inflation Rises, US Job Openings Data in Focus

The economic calendar is packed with key releases today, with the euro area's preliminary CPI inflation reading taking center stage. The forecast suggests a rise to 3.3% year-over-year, up from 2.9% in July. Additionally, the unemployment rate for both the Eurozone and Italy will be closely watched, with forecasts of 6.3% and 5.6%, respectively.

The US economic calendar also features several important releases, including the JOLTS report on job openings and the August ISM Manufacturing Index. The forecast predicts a slight easing in the manufacturing index to 55.2 points, while remaining above 55 points.

Central bank speakers will also take the stage today, with ECB's Kocher, Nagel, Vujcic, and Fed's Barr scheduled to speak at various times throughout the day.
