Eurozone Inflation Accelerates Past Forecasts
The Eurozone's inflation rate has accelerated in September, exceeding expectations according to recent data. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by 3.8% year-over-year, surpassing the predicted 3.7%. This marks a significant increase from August's 3.2%.
In addition to the year-over-year growth, the Eurozone also saw a rise in monthly inflation rates, with prices increasing by 0.6% compared to August's 0.4%. Core CPI inflation remained relatively stable at 2.5%, matching forecast expectations.
