Eurozone Inflation Hits 3-Year High of 3.8%
The eurozone's annual inflation rate rose to 3.8% in September 2026, according to Eurostat.
This marks the highest level since September 2023 and follows a preliminary estimate of 3.2% in August.
Energy prices were a significant contributor to the increase, climbing 18.8% last month compared to 14.3% in August.
The European Central Bank (ECB) raised its three key interest rates for the second time this year by 25 basis points on September 10.
