Eurozone Inflation Hits Highest Level in Three Years
The Eurozone's annual inflation rate has reached its highest level in three years, according to data released by Eurostat. The inflation rate rose to 3.8 percent in September 2026, up from 3.2 percent in August.
The biggest contributor to the increase was energy prices, which surged by 18.8 percent compared to 14.3 percent the previous month. Service prices also rose, increasing to 3.2 percent, while food prices remained relatively stable at 1.4 percent.
