Eurozone Inflation Hits Three-Year High of 3.8%
The Eurozone has seen its annual inflation rate rise to a three-year high of 3.8% in September, according to the latest figures from Eurostat.
This marks an increase from August's 3.2%, with energy prices showing the strongest jump among main components, rising by 18.8%. Services inflation also increased to 3.2%, while food prices rose by 1.4% and non-energy industrial goods slowed slightly to 1.1%.
The European Central Bank (ECB) continues to monitor these price pressures, with headline inflation now well above its 2% target. This has put additional pressure on households and businesses.
