Eurozone Inflation Hits Three-Year High on Energy Price Surge
The Eurozone has seen its inflation rate soar to a three-year high of 3.8 percent in September 2026, according to data released by Eurostat.
This marks a significant increase from the previous month's rate of 3.2 percent, and energy prices were the main driver behind this jump, rising by 18.8 percent compared to 14.3 percent in August.
Service prices also saw an uptick, increasing to 3.2 percent, while food prices remained relatively stable at 1.4 percent.
