Eurozone Manufacturing PMIs Beat Forecasts, Fueling Bets on ECB Rate Hike

The composite PMI rose to 53.1 from 52.0 in August, while the services PMI climbed to 53.0 versus estimates of 51.7 and a prior 51.6.
The euro weakened following the German and Eurozone PMI releases, with EUR/USD down 0.3% near 1.1412 at the time of reporting.
