Fed Clears Mergers Between Peoples Bancorp and Citizens National Corporation

The Federal Reserve Board has approved the application by Peoples Bancorp Inc., of Marietta, Ohio, to merge with Citizens National Corporation. This move indirectly allows Peoples Bancorp to acquire Citizens Bank of Kentucky, Inc., both located in Paintsville, Kentucky.

In addition, the Fed gave its approval for Peoples Bank of Marietta, Ohio, to merge with Citizens Bank of Kentucky, Inc. The merged entity will establish and operate branches at the locations of Citizens Bank of Kentucky, Inc.
