The Federal Reserve has proposed new rules for payment stablecoin issuers under its supervision. The proposals would require issuers to fully back their tokens with permitted reserve assets and address how supervised banks can take part in stablecoin activity.

These developments come as DigiTap, a company focused on crypto payments, continues to advance its beta app, which is already available for download on the App Store and Google Play. The app supports more than 100 crypto assets and allows users to make payments using these digital currencies.

The price of $TAP, the token issued by DigiTap, remains at $0.0589 during its current presale phase. However, Round 4 is nearing completion, with over 90% of the allocation sold, and the next presale price will be $0.0594.
