Fed Unanimity May Crack at Next Meeting: Former Bridgewater Strategist
Rebecca Patterson, former chief investment strategist at Bridgewater Associates LP, is warning that the US Federal Reserve's unanimous decision on interest-rate hikes may not last.
In a recent interview with Bloomberg Television, Patterson said she believes there's a chance that some Fed policymakers will dissent from the group's stance at their next meeting in October.
Patterson pointed out that while some policymakers think it's time to take a pause on interest-rate hikes, others believe that inflation remains sticky and the economy is still strong.
