Federal Reserve Approves Isabella Bank Expansion in Michigan
The Federal Reserve has given the green light to Isabella Bank Corporation’s plans to expand its footprint in Michigan. On Monday, the Fed approved Isabella Bank’s application to acquire Grand River Commerce, Inc., which will allow it to indirectly take over Grand River Bank, both based in Grandville, Michigan.
The approval also covers Isabella Bank’s merger with Grand River Bank, along with permission to establish and operate branches at Grand River Bank’s existing locations. This move is expected to strengthen Isabella Bank’s presence in the region.
The Fed’s decision was formalized in an order, which can be viewed as a PDF document. The announcement was made in a public release, noting that the material may be edited for clarity and length but does not represent the institutional positions of Mirage News.
