Feds Launch Private Credit Market Survey
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and the New York Fed are teaming up to launch a pilot survey that will explore lending trends in the US private credit direct lending market.
The private credit market has experienced rapid growth in recent years, reaching an estimated size of over $1.3 trillion USD.
This is comparable to both the high-yield bond and broadly syndicated loan markets.
The survey will provide insights into the availability of credit, credit provision, and the evolution of lending standards in private credit markets.
