Fedspeak Dominates Market as Stocks Rebound from Wednesday's Selloff
The stock market rebounded on Thursday after a selloff on Wednesday following the Federal Reserve's first rate hike since 2023.
The S&P 500 (SP500) opened down by 0.2%, while the Dow DJI fell by 0.4% and the Nasdaq Composite COMP rose by 0.4%.
Fed officials Michelle Bowman and Jeffrey Schmid are set to speak, providing clues on the central bank's rate path.
Market participants will also be monitoring leading indicators and industrial production reports.
The 2-year Treasury yield US02Y rose by 2.0 basis points to 4.70%, while the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield US10Y increased by 1.0 basis point to 4.95%.
