France Must Take Responsibility for Its Debt, Says Bank of France Governor
Bank of France Governor Emmanuel Moulin believes that France needs to cut its spending and reduce its budget deficit in order to tackle its debt problem. In an interview on Public Senat, he stated that it would be 'bad reasoning' to expect the European Central Bank (ECB) to come to France's aid if the country had difficulty financing itself.
Moulin emphasized the importance of fiscal responsibility and reducing the country's budget deficit in order to address its debt issue. He did not indicate any reliance on ECB assistance, suggesting that France must take a proactive approach to addressing its economic challenges.
