Fresenius Buys Full Control of mAbxience for Up to EUR 750 Million
Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA has expanded its biosimilars platform by acquiring full ownership of mAbxience, a Spanish-based biopharmaceutical company, for up to EUR 750 million.
The transaction was signed and completed on September 30 without regulatory approvals. Fresenius now owns 100% of the shares in mAbxience.
mAbxience generated more than EUR 320 million in revenue in fiscal year 2025, operating three manufacturing facilities in Spain and Latin America.
Fresenius reported a 6% increase in revenue to EUR 5,864 million in Q2 2026, with group EBIT reaching EUR 719 million, a 10% constant-currency increase from the same period last year. The company also raised its fiscal 2026 constant-currency core EPS growth guidance to 10% to 15%.
