FTAI Aviation Loses Major Shareholder as Owl Creek Sells Stake
Owl Creek Asset Management L.P., a hedge fund, reduced its holdings in FTAI Aviation Ltd. (NASDAQ:FTAI) by 23.5% during the first quarter, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The firm owned approximately 3.6% of Owl Creek's holdings, making it the company's third-largest holding, with about $50 million worth of FTAI Aviation stock as of its latest SEC filing.
This reduction in holdings is one of several changes to institutional investors' positions in FTAI Aviation over the past few quarters. Other notable shareholders include Swiss National Bank, which increased its stake by 49% during the first quarter, and M&T Bank Corp, which grew its holding by 323.6% in the fourth quarter.
FTAI Aviation is a commercial aircraft leasing company that focuses on modern, fuel-efficient Boeing models. The company has seen significant revenue growth in recent quarters, with $830.7 million in revenue for the latest reported period, up 65.4% from the same time last year.
