New Zealand's fuel prices continued to rise in August, with petrol up 2.0% and diesel up 8.6% monthly.
According to Statistics NZ, international airfares also increased by 4.3% in August, following a 10.9% leap in July.
The annual increase in international airfares was the largest since April 2023, with prices up 21.5%, while domestic airfares rose 6.5%
