FX Markets React to Easing Tensions in Hormuz
The FX market is showing early indications of significant movement this week, following the easing of tensions in the Hormuz region.
The euro has risen to 1.1392, a 0.22% gain from last Friday's close, and is holding within its recent range. The British Pound has also firmed up at 1.3332, sitting right at Friday's high.
On the other hand, the Swiss Franc has seen a significant decline to 0.8162, as the dollar softens against it.
The Australian and New Zealand Dollars are leading the risk-currency gains, with the Aussie rising above the 0.70 handle at 0.7002, and the Kiwi tracking higher at 0.5804.
