The British Pound (GBP) fell by 0.38% against the US Dollar (USD) on Tuesday, as the latter continued to strengthen despite a decline in US Consumer Confidence and weaker jobs data.
At the time of writing, GBP/USD traded at 1.3205, having peaked at 1.3258.
The Pound recovered some losses against the USD later in the day, but remained down by 0.14% at around 1.3235 during the European trading session.
