GBP/USD Range-Bound Ahead of Fed and BoE Decisions
The British Pound (GBP) has been relatively stagnant in recent sessions, trading near 1.3300 in the New York morning. This comes as investors await key decisions from two central banks: the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England.
The GBP/USD pair has been range-bound, with a daily range of barely 30 pips between 1.3250 and 1.3300. This is the narrowest daily range in weeks, ahead of significant events from both central banks.
The Federal Reserve's decision is set for Wednesday, while the Bank of England's announcement is scheduled for Friday. The Monetary Policy Report accompanying the latter event may provide fresh insights into the BoE's monetary policy stance.
