The National Bank of Georgia sets the exchange rate for US dollars and euros. As of September 16, one dollar is set at 2.6081 GEL, and the euro at 3.0084 GEL. However, currency exchange booths in different locations have varying rates.
In Saburtalo, citizens can buy a dollar for 2.6070 GEL and sell it for 2.9850 GEL. One euro is bought for 2.9950 GEL and sold for 2.9850 GEL. In Chugureti district, the rates are slightly different.
In the vicinity of the Station Square, citizens can buy a dollar for 2.6080 GEL and sell it for 2.6040 GEL. One euro is bought for 2.9990 GEL and sold for 2.9800 GEL.
