Georgia's Exchange Rates Vary by Location Amid National Bank Updates
The National Bank of Georgia has set its exchange rate for September 23. As of today, one US dollar is valued at 2.6229 GEL, while the euro is worth 2.9925 GEL. However, the exchange rates in currency booths across various locations in Tbilisi are slightly different.
In Saburtalo, citizens can buy one dollar for 2.6100 GEL and sell it for 2.6050 GEL. The euro is priced at 3.0000 GEL when purchased and 2.9900 GEL when sold. Similar rates apply to Chugureti district, where the prices are 2.6080 GEL for buying a dollar and 2.6040 GEL for selling it, with the euro costing 2.9940 GEL to buy and 2.9860 GEL to sell.
The exchange rates at currency points near Station Square offer slightly different prices: 2.6122 GEL for buying a dollar and 2.6052 GEL for selling it, with the euro costing 3.0050 GEL when bought and 2.9850 GEL when sold.
