Ghana Cedi Experiences Mixed Movements Against International Currencies

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has released its latest interbank exchange rates for September 17, showing mixed movements in the Ghana cedi against major international currencies.

The US dollar rose slightly to GH¢11.5000 compared to the previous day's average rate of GH¢11.4824, representing an increase of approximately GH¢0.02.

In contrast, the pound sterling eased to GH¢15.4652 from its previous day's average rate of GH¢15.4743, a marginal decline of about GH¢0.01.

The biggest movement was recorded against the euro, which fell to GH¢13.2663 from its previous day's average rate of GH¢13.3875, a decline of about GH¢0.12.
