The Ghanaian Cedi has shown signs of appreciation against major currencies on August 14, 2026. According to data from Cedirates.com, the average buying rate for the US dollar is GHS11.15, a twenty pesewa appreciation compared to Thursday's rates. The selling rate also sees an eleven pesewa appreciation, standing at GHS11.90.
At forex bureaus, the Cedi trades at GHS11.70 for dollar purchases and GHS12.30 for sales. On the Bank of Ghana interbank market, the cedi is trading at GHS10.97 for buying and GHS10.99 on the selling rates.
