Global Cues Set to Dominate Indian Stock Market Next Week
The Indian stock market is expected to remain driven by global cues in the coming week. Investors will closely track the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, which is scheduled for July 28-29.
A fresh round of June quarter earnings from heavyweight companies such as Larsen & Toubro and Hindustan Unilever will also be watched closely. Banking stocks emerged among the biggest drags after a mixed set of Q1 FY27 results.
The Sensex declined 2.68 per cent during the previous week, while the Nifty fell 2.33 per cent to close at 23,767.45. The broader market also remained under pressure.
