Gold Prices Remain Volatile Amid Dollar, Geopolitical Tensions
Gold prices are expected to remain volatile and range-bound in the coming week as traders track movements in the US dollar, bond yields, developments in the West Asia conflict, and the direction of crude oil prices.
Analysts predict that gold will continue to be influenced by these factors, which include the upcoming release of economic data from major economies, including mid-month manufacturing and services Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) readings.
Investors will also be monitoring central bank monetary policy decisions, with the People's Bank of China set to announce its monetary policy on Monday. Rates are likely to remain unchanged.
Last week, gold futures for October delivery rose 1.04% to close at Rs 1.54 lakh per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), while silver futures gained nearly 3% to end at Rs 2.41 lakh per kilogram.
