Gold Soars as Oil Prices Dip Amid Saudi Pipeline Restarts
Gold prices rose for a second consecutive day on Friday, reaching their highest level since September 11, as buying at lower levels continued.
The price of gold increased by 1.1% to $4,387.14, while the US dollar index fell around 0.1%, moving further away from its seven-week high.
Global oil prices declined for a third consecutive day due to Saudi comments about restoring the East-West pipeline and Chinese efforts to contain Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.
