Graziella Fine Jewellery Placed into Receivership Amid Ongoing Debt Repayment Issues
Graziella Fine Jewellery Inc., an Ontario corporation operating as a jewellery store, was placed into receivership on September 11, 2026. The move came after Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) demanded repayment of over $527,000 under demand credit facilities that had been outstanding for more than a year.
The debt, which includes accrued interest and fees, dates back to February 7, 2022, when RBC provided Graziella with four facilities, including a $350,000 revolving line of credit. The company's obligations were secured by a general security agreement giving RBC a first-ranking security interest over its personal property.
RBC had concerns about the business in mid-2024 due to multiple overdrafts and difficulties obtaining financial information. Despite requests for further reporting, including quarterly profit and loss statements and balance sheets, Graziella failed to provide the necessary documents. The company's RBC account went into overdraft repeatedly between February and September 2025.
