While US buyers can see a $399.99 price tag on the Rockstar Store, Australians are met with a 'not available in your region' message. This has led to speculation and confusion among fans, with some estimates converting the US price to around A$570.

However, as Evie Rose points out in her article for PopTopic, this is likely an incorrect conversion. Using the Reserve Bank of Australia's current exchange rate, $399.99 converts to A$569.87, not A$570. Adding 10% GST would bring the price to around A$626.86.

Rockstar has confirmed that Australian pre-order details are coming, but until then, fans are advised to wait for official announcements from Rockstar or local retailers like EB Games and JB Hi-Fi. The smart play is to expect a fast sell-out if local stock is small, and prepare for something closer to A$650 than A$570.
