Hagerty Praises Warsh's Performance at Senate Hearing
Senator Bill Hagerty praised Kevin Warsh's performance at Tuesday's Senate Banking Committee hearing, calling it 'textbook.'
Hagerty, a member of the committee, said Warsh handled disrespectful questions from the ranking member without getting defensive.
The government shutdown in the fall and the handling of the Department of Homeland Security budget were cited as examples of partisan behavior by Democrats.
Hagerty hopes the committee will come to its senses and realize that Warsh is the right person for the job, citing his experience as a Fed Governor from 2006 to 2011 and previous unanimous approval by the Senate Banking Committee.
