Healthcare REIT Secures 800M Yen Social Loan to Refinance Debt
Healthcare & Medical Investment Corp (JP:3455) has arranged an 800 million yen short-term unsecured social loan from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. The interest rate is set at one-month JPY TIBOR plus 0.25 percent, with the funds to be drawn on October 1, 2026 and repaid in a lump sum on December 1, 2026.
The loan will refinance an existing 800 million yen loan maturing on the same date, keeping total interest-bearing debt unchanged at 57.67 billion yen. This move underscores the REIT's continued use of highly rated social finance instruments to support its healthcare-focused investment strategy.
