HelloFresh Stock Slumps Ahead of Q3 Results Amid Revised Guidance
HelloFresh's stock price dropped by 2.62 percent to EUR 2.337 on Xetra on October 2, 2026. The decline came ahead of the company's third-quarter and nine-month results announcement scheduled for November 5, 2026.
The guidance provided by HelloFresh in September indicated that revenue would decline by 9-11 percent in constant currency, down from a previous estimate of 3-6 percent. The consensus forecast had been a 6.9 percent decline. Additionally, the company revised its adjusted EBITDA outlook to EUR 350 million to EUR 370 million, compared to the earlier range of EUR 375 million to EUR 425 million and a consensus of EUR 375.6 million.
HelloFresh attributed the shortfall in customer growth during the back-to-school period to reduced third-quarter marketing spending, which it says delayed customer acquisition. The company now expects revenue to decline by 11-12 percent and adjusted EBITDA to reach EUR 45 million to EUR 55 million for the quarter, lower than the consensus forecast of a 6.8 percent revenue decline and EUR 57.2 million of adjusted EBITDA.
