ICE Canola Futures Decline on Warm Temperatures and Harvest Advancement

ICE Canola futures declined on Friday, closing at lower prices compared to Thursday. The Canadian dollar was down by less than one-tenth of a U.S. cent at mid-afternoon.

An analyst noted that warm temperatures and sunny skies in the Prairies will help advance the region's canola harvest, putting pressure on prices.

The Canadian Grain Commission reported a negligible amount of canola exports during the week ended September 13, but year-to-date totals were up slightly at 709,600 tonnes.
