IDB Launches GBP 50 Million Sterling-Denominated Notes with 5% Fixed Rate
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) has launched a new tranche of sterling-denominated notes worth GBP 50 million, as part of its Series 877 Global Debt Program. The notes have a fixed rate of 5% and mature on July 20, 2030.
The issue price for the notes is GBP 51,016,000, reflecting a premium and accrued interest. Nomura International plc served as sole dealer for the transaction, with no commissions or concessions payable on the notes.
The net proceeds from the sale of the notes will be incorporated into the IDB's ordinary capital resources and are not earmarked for specific loans or projects. The Bank collaborates with member countries to reduce poverty and inequality across Latin America and the Caribbean, aligning its strategic priorities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
