India's Software Exports Surge to US$ 221.4 Billion

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released data on India's software services exports for the fiscal year 2025-26. According to the survey, India's exports of software services increased by 8.2% year-over-year (y-o-y) to US$ 221.4 billion.

The RBI stated that computer services accounted for over two-thirds of India's total software services exports during this period. Private limited companies dominated software exports with a 9.3% growth in 2025-26.

The United States remained the major destination for India's software exports, accounting for 54.1% of total exports, followed by European countries with a share of 31.8%. The US dollar was the primary invoicing currency for Indian software exports.
