Inflation Risks Remain Sticky Despite Lower Rate

Australia's inflation rate has fallen to 3.5 per cent, but former Treasury assistant secretary David Pearl believes this is not cause for celebration.

In an interview with News24 host Peta Credlin, Mr. Pearl expressed concern that inflationary risks remain a significant issue for the country.

'It's clear that inflationary risks are a concern,' he said. 'Inflation remains sticky.'

Mr. Pearl also criticized Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) governor Michele Bullock, suggesting her strategy is to rely on luck rather than proactive measures to manage inflation.
