Iran Announces New Official Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of August 31. According to the CBI, the value of 43 currencies increased compared to August 29, while 3 currencies declined. The official rate for $1 is now 1,589,555 rials, and one euro is valued at 1,830,516 rials.
The SANA system has been adopted by the CBI for currency exchange offices, with one euro costing 1,830,516 rials and $1 costing 1,589,555 rials. In contrast, on the black market, $1 is worth approximately 2.06-2.09 million rials, while one euro is worth 2.39-2.42 million rials.
