Iran Publishes New Currency Exchange Rates Amid Growing Economic Pressures
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has released new exchange rates for foreign currencies as of September 23. According to the CBI, 46 currencies saw an increase in value compared to the previous day.
The official rate for $1 is now 1,690,018 rials, while one euro is valued at 1,937,692 rials. This represents a slight increase from the previous day's rates, with the euro priced at 1,930,915 rials on September 22.
The new exchange rates reflect the CBI's adoption of the SANA system for currency exchange offices. On the black market, $1 is worth approximately 2.32-2.35 million rials, while one euro is valued at 2.65-2.68 million rials.
