Iran Updates Foreign Currency Exchange Rates for October 7
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has published the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of October 7, 2026. According to the latest data, the value of 44 currencies increased compared to the previous day, while only 2 currencies saw a decline. The US dollar is now priced at 1,773,407 rials, up from 1,768,103 rials on October 6. Similarly, the euro has risen to 1,997,189 rials, compared to 1,982,235 rials the day before.
Among the notable changes, the British pound reached 2,354,532 rials, while the Swiss franc was valued at 2,134,940 rials. The UAE dirham and the Kuwaiti dinar also saw increases, priced at 482,888 rials and 5,730,406 rials, respectively. The Russian ruble was one of the few currencies that decreased in value, dropping to 20,690 rials from 20,818 rials.
The CBI has adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where the euro and US dollar are officially traded at 1,997,189 rials and 1,773,407 rials, respectively. However, on the black market, the US dollar is valued significantly higher at around 2,69-2,72 million rials, and the euro is priced between 3,02-3,05 million rials.
