Iran Updates Official Currency Exchange Rates for October 6

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has announced the official exchange rates for foreign currencies as of October 6, 2026. The values of 37 currencies increased compared to October 5, while 8 saw a decline.

The US dollar's official rate stood at 1,768,103 rials, up from 1,762,815 rials the previous day. The euro was valued at 1,982,235 rials, slightly down from 1,983,801 rials on October 5.

Other notable rates include the British pound at 2,336,866 rials, the Swiss franc at 2,126,845 rials, and the Indian rupee at 18,360 rials. The CBI adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where the euro and dollar rates were set at 1,982,235 rials and 1,768,103 rials, respectively.

On the black market, the dollar was trading at around 2,69-2,72 million rials, while the euro was valued at 3,01-3,04 million rials.
