Iranian Rial Takes Hit Against US Dollar
The Iranian rial took a hit on Tuesday in the free market, losing ground against the US dollar. According to market data, the greenback rose 3.45% from Monday's session, trading at 2,531,500 rials.
This represents an increase of 84,500 rials from Monday's price of 2,447,000 rials. In tomans, the dollar traded at 253,150 tomans, up from 244,700 tomans.
