Iran's Central Bank Publishes Exchange Rates for September 20
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) released updated exchange rates for foreign currencies on September 20, showing that the value of 44 currencies rose compared to the previous day.
According to the CBI's announced rates, one US dollar is now valued at 1,666,079 rials, while one euro costs 1,907,263 rials. This represents a slight increase from yesterday's rate of $1 = 1,663,768 rials and €1 = 1,913,683 rials.
The exchange rates for other major currencies also showed increases, including the British pound, Swiss franc, Swedish króna, Norwegian krone, Danish krone, Indian rupee, UAE Dirham, Kuwaiti dinar, Pakistani rupees, Japanese yen, Hong Kong dollar, Omani rial, Canadian dollar, New Zealand dollar, South African rand, Turkish lira, Russian ruble, Qatari riyal, Iraqi dinars, Syrian pound, Australian dollar, Saudi riyal, Bahraini dinar, Singapore dollar, Bangladeshi takas, Sri Lankan rupees, Myanmar kyat, Nepalese rupees, Libyan dinar, Chinese yuan, Thai baht, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Jordanian dinar, euro, and Kazakh tenge.
However, two currencies showed a decrease in value: the Venezuelan bolívar and the Belarusian ruble. The CBI adopted the SANA system for currency exchange offices, where one euro costs 1,913,683 rials and $1 costs 1,666,079 rials.
